How to Donate

Donations to The Mariposa School help sustain and expand critical early intervention and educational programs for children, some as young as 18 months, who are challenged by autism and other developmental disabilities. Our intensive program provides a one-to-one students/instructor ratio which is so important for each student’s success. Your generous support allows our highly trained instructors to provide the individualized attention each child needs to succeed in school, in their homes and community, and in their adult life!

 

Please make checks payable to “The Mariposa School”. The Mariposa School, 203 Gregson Drive Cary, NC 27511. The Mariposa School for Children with Autism is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 organization. Donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by the law. Information regarding the school’s registration in North Carolina can be obtained from the Office of the Secretary of State online, or by writing to: NC Secretary of State, PO Box 29622 Raleigh NC 27626-0622.

 

All donors will recieve a receipt for tax purposes.

Current Fundraising Campaigns

If you would prefer to direct your donations to a specific cause. The Mariposa School would like to direct your attention to the following fundraising campaigns. Once a specific campaign is fully funded, we will be able to address that specific need. If you don’t see a cause that interests you today, check back often, as new campaigns are started all the time.

 

The school is currently fundraising for the following causes..

The Mariposa School is currently seeking funds to upgrade and repair our parking lot, repaint the lines, have trees trimmed, and landscaping done around our memorial gardens.

We have art projects lined up for the Spring! We could use funding for basic art supplies such as construction paper, and paint.

Language Builder Cards assist our instructors in teaching the vital language skills that enable our students to communicate.

Toys are an important tool at Mariposa. In addition to bringing smiles, they keep our students engaged. Adding new toys, presents the children with something new and exciting to explore and encourages learning.
